What is the difference between divorce and judicial separation?+
Judicial separation is a court order recognising that a couple is separated and dealing with matters such as finances and children, but it does not end the marriage. Divorce formally ends the marriage and allows either party to remarry.
How long must a couple be separated before divorcing in Ireland?+
